Goby and Allied Cowrie

Gobies on Corals are fantastic photo subjects – and so are Allied Cowries. That means it must be good as well if you get both in a pack 😉 And that’s also what we thought, when we found these two little guys together on the same little Coral Branch. The funny thing was, that the Goby used the Cowrie for shelter – it was hiding behind it and peeking over towards the camera.

Coral Branches are hosts to many different (photogenic) animals here in Lembeh such as Tozeuma Shrimps, Skeleton Shrimps, Xeno Crabs, Gobies, Hawkfish, Cowries and various other shrimps and crabs. Just keep your eyes open and find these easy to isolate photo subjects.
